Create an account
An account lets you keep your own Vaults and join other people’s.
Sign up
- Open the sign-up page and choose Create an account (or go to the page with the button below).
- Pick a username. Use 3 to 32 characters: letters a to z, digits, and the symbols
_.-, starting with a letter or digit. You can’t change it later. - Choose a password of at least 10 characters. It can’t be the same as your username, and very common passwords are refused.
- Add an email address if you want to. It is only used to send password reset links. Without one, you can still reset your password with a recovery code, or by asking an administrator.
- Select Create account. You are logged in at once.
If sign-ups are closed
Lorechive is in a closed beta. When sign-ups are closed, the page says “Signups are closed on this server. Ask an administrator for an account.” To ask for an invite, write to support@mylorechive.com. See Report a problem or contact support for what to include.
Your first Vault
After you sign up, the Vaults page is empty. Choose New Vault, give it a name (up to 80 characters) and an optional description, and select Create Vault. Vault basics explains what a Vault holds and how to share it.
Add a second step to log in
You can turn on two-factor authentication in your account. It gives you recovery codes to save. See Get back into your account.
